A New Year’s Eve - Poem

A New Year’s Eve

And so here we are,
Carried along by the
Audacity and courage
To put into words our
Unnamed dreams.

We wait for the moment,
That intersection of
Time and space,
Moments and meetings,
Beginnings and endings.

Because here,
In this second that lasts a lifetime,
We find
Hope.
