It’s so nice to share this space with you!
A few fun facts about me are that I love words (reading them, writing them, drawing them), I love people (but not always up close — extroverted introvert over here!), I’m often found on a comfy couch, and I’m the person who constantly stops to look at every tiny flower on a walk.
But more than anything, I have a deep passion for creating spaces of belonging.
I think too many of us feel out of place or out of touch with where and who we are. And this fast-paced world only adds to the feelings of overwhelm and anxiety when we are constantly bombarded with messages about how we should look, what we should eat, where the vase should go to look perfect in that picture. Because if we make ourselves, our family, our surroundings look perfect, we’ll finally fit in and feel okay, right?
I’m here to tell you that you do not have to earn your way into belonging. That you are allowed to not have it all together. That you are allowed to be who you are. That there is a more meaningful life waiting to be found when you allow yourself to be real.
Real is messy. It can be uncomfortable. But I believe it’s where we find a whole lot of peace and freedom.
This blog is a space to be. To pause and breathe. To, hopefully, feel heard and seen through honest words for real people.
Welcome here.
